Dossier de Validation Industrielle app is designed to simplify, mistake proof and project manage your DVI reports. Visual DVI is part of the Visual IPI Platform.
It has been designed specifically to help manage the Safran DVI requirements and improve your process for creation of the different ‘Volet’ requirements.
Visual DVI comes bundled with a number of other apps to make producing and managing your DVIs easy. From ballooning a drawing and creating a manufacturing process flow to analyzing problems using PFMEA and creating a dimensional report and control plan, all the apps which come bundled with Visual DVI enable the process to be achieved with ease.
The Dossier de Validation Industrielle involves the management of many tasks. These tasks are defined from Volet 0 through to Volet 9. Once all Volet requirements are complete and checked, the DVI report can be collated and submitted.
DVI (sometimes called PVI, ProductValidation de Industrielle’) is key for the supply chain to establish, demonstrate and minimize the risk of failure by making effective use of a demonstrated APQP process.
The use of the DVI terminology is recognized within the French Aerospace Industry. Visual DVI ensures that all users approach the task of creating a DVI in the same ‘standardized’ way. The application offers customization, with the ability to assign individuals as responsible for that Volet requirement and ensuring a process owner exists. The ability to define a ‘Lead Time’ for notification of when that Volet should be started, to ensure delivery of both DVI and Part, is met on time. It allows you to ensure the Process is monitored, analyzed and improved where required, while also ensures records are maintained.
Our solution gives you complete management of the process – you know the status of each Volet and have the ability to create a history of actions on each Volet. This is done by leaving notes which provide information on the date that each action has been completed and by which user. These notes are automatically generated when documents are attached and deleted. Visually you will know which projects are Complete, Work In Progress or Not Started with little effort on your part.
One of the unique advantages of Visual DVI is that it is integrated with Visual FAIR, FMEA & CPIP. All of these apps have been designed to help create documentation for the completion of ballooned drawing or other documentation that requires ballooning such as POs. Process flow can be created with FMEA and this app is also used to generate the DFMEA or PFMEA as required. CPIP Control Plan & Inspection Planning app.
Consider the following requirements:
* Ballooned Drawings – utilize Visual FAIR
* EN9102 requirements – utilize Visual FAIR
* Process Flow Diagram – utilize Visual FMEA
* PFMEA – utilize Visual FMEA
* Control Plan – utilize Visual CPIP
The output from Visual DVI can be in a PDF format with each of the Volet requirements divided and hyperlinked from an automatically generated index page. In addition you can also output your Excel Volet templates if required. The review of the DVI becomes more efficient and standardized, benefitting both yourself and creating a professional looking DVI report for your customer to review. Your customer can review with ease any DVI you produce in a standardized way and meeting their specific requirements each and every time.
